Step 1 - Application Process & Interview

Once we receive your application, we'll give you a call to discuss it. Then, we'll help arrange a meeting with a franchise expert or District Manager.

Step 2 - Discovery Day

You'll go out on a discovery ride with a distributor in your area to see what it takes to Be Your Own Boss™ with Mac Tools.

Step 3 - Business Preparation

Once you're committed to Mac Tools, you'll work with our franchise specialists to complete your business setup and find a truck.

Step 4 - Mentor Ride Week

This is the first week of our comprehensive training program where you'll spend 5 days on a truck with an existing, successful franchisee.

Step 5 - Mac Tools University & Training

At Mac Tools University (MTU) in Westerville, Ohio, our professional trainers distill over 75 years of experience in the mobile tool industry into a comprehensive classroom setting that will ensure you have the skills you need out on your route.

After graduating from MTU, your District Manager will work alongside you for ten days on your route offering continued sales and business training. They will assist in merchandising your truck and help implement promotional techniques that can increase sales at every stop.

After our formal month-long training program, you'll be fully prepared to service your customers and continue to grow your business--but our support doesn't end there!
